Professional Two-Wheel Scissor Sharpener

The two preset grinding wheels of the scissor sharpener are:

• Thick carbide grinding wheel: for degreasing and sharpening the blade
• Ceramic grinding wheel: finishes sharpening, polishes and keeps blades sharp

Suitable for most types of scissors and kitchen, work and textile knives. Not suitable for micro-serrated, curved and sample cutting blades. 

The blade sharpener uses a hard metal grinding wheel and a preset ceramic stone to sharpen all blades at the same angle; it can sharpen everything from pocket/sports knives to kitchen knives, scissors and axes.
The specially shaped ceramic grinding wheel can be used on standard or serrated blades.
The knife sharpener has an ergonomic, soft, non-slip handle (spray coating) for greater comfort and safety. Just 3-4 strokes in one direction are enough to create a perfect sharpening.

23° SHARPENING ANGLE The
hard metal grinding wheel provides quick sharpening of blades when they are badly damaged.
The fine ceramic grinding wheel removes very little metal and is excellent for finishing and maintaining an already sharp blade.

REPLACEABLE AND REVERSIBLE GRINDING
WHEELS When the grinding wheels lose their sharpening properties, they can be rotated to use the other side or replaced.
To rotate or replace, remove the two screws and the plastic cover, then remove the grinding wheels, rotate them 180° and reverse the blades to use the other sharpening side, then refit the cover and the two screws.

CARE AND USE

• Always clean your knife sharpener after use.
• To clean it, use a damp cloth or a small brush, removing all impurities
• Do not rinse with water

SHARPENING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the knife sharpener on a flat surface
2. Insert the knife blade into the sharpening slot, with a hard steel grinding wheel, to roughen the blade
3. While applying downward pressure, pull the knife or scissor blade through the sharpening slot, allowing the blade to slide over the grinding wheel for degreasing
4. Repeat the process three or four times until the blade is sharp
5. Then perform the same process on the ceramic grinding wheel to finish sharpening the blades
