How to tuft

The Cut Pile technique
The TG-1 gun allows you to perform cut pile, a technique that will give you a 'dishevelled' result. This is because scissors located under the yarn cut it every time it is pushed beyond the canvas. Cut pile carpets are generally much softer and the length of the yarn can be adjusted.

You can easily change the cutting length between 7 and 19 millimetres. To change the length of the pile, all you need is a hexagonal screwdriver and a wrench (included in the package) to adjust the cutting behaviour of the scissors. It seems daunting at first, but once you know how it works, it's a one-minute adjustment.
