Teletta to be used as a backing and stabiliser for embroidery and new creative techniques.
It can be easily removed without leaving any residue by washing in cold water without additives. Ideal
support for embroidery on fine and stretchy fabrics, embroidery on terry cloth and structured fabrics.
Perfect for making lace and for creating your own homemade 'fabrics' using the 'layering' technique.
This backing fabric can only be ironed with a dry iron without steam at temperature setting 1.

Areas of application and method of use:

• Support for sewing and embroidery work on fine fabrics. Simply place the backing under the fabric and stretch everything on the embroidery frame. When finished, remove the backing with cold water.
• Applications on terry cloth and other highly structured fabrics: prevents the embroidery stitches from sinking into the fabric and the embroidery patterns can be drawn on the backing itself. When finished, cut the backing roughly and remove the rest with cold water.
• Layered or "collage" technique: simply spread out the backing fabric and arrange the materials such as ribbons, fabric scraps or yarns on top, then cover with another layer of backing fabric and sew all the layers together. When finished, remove the backing fabric with cold water.
• To make isolated lace, simply stretch a double layer of canvas tightly in the embroidery frame and carry out the work. Then remove the canvas by washing it. Once the lace is dry, it is advisable to iron it gently.
• For sewn appliqués, simply cut out the shape from the fabric and then sew the creative backing fabric onto the back, then place the appliqué on the right side and sew it on. After finishing the work, rinse with water to remove the backing fabric.
