DMC transparent Water Soluble Guide 14-count - 20 x 22 cm

"Personalisation" has become a fashion phenomenon. Today, thanks to DMC and the new product, Water Soluble Guide, you can easily embroider on all your garments, even if the fabric has a very dense weave and you cannot count the threads! 

The water-soluble canvas allows you to easily embroider on clothes, household linen or any other textile. Once the embroidery is complete, there is no need to remove it, just soak it in water and the canvas will dissolve.

Soluble Canvas is a water-soluble canvas for easy cross-stitching on any type of fabric.
Embroidery is made easy with this transparent water-soluble canvas, which corresponds to 5.5 stitches/cm (14 ct) Aida canvas. Simply secure the canvas to the fabric to be embroidered with a light basting stitch and use the holes in the water-soluble canvas as a guide for embroidery. Then, once the embroidery is finished, soak everything in water (40-50°C) so that the canvas dissolves.

This is a special fabric because it is water-soluble and dissolves in water. It can replace traditional fabric for cross-stitching on fabrics where the threads cannot be counted, such as clothes and accessories. Simply baste the Soluble Canvas onto the surface to be decorated, embroider and then wash the decorated garment to dissolve the fabric and remove the basting thread!

. For embroidery, DMC recommends cotton threads such as Mouliné Spécial or Cotone Perlé.

This unusual "canvas" allows you to easily and quickly personalise all your clothes (tops, dresses, jeans, etc.), your baby's world, your accessories (bags, toiletries bags, hats, etc.) and your home décor (cushions, tablecloths, etc.) with cross-stitch. What makes it special? Very easy to use, Soluble Canvas is water-soluble! Embroider your favourite designs on any fabric, wash it and your embroidery is ready! Place the Soluble Canvas on the right side of the fabric, where you want to embroider. Secure it to the support with a thread. Please note: the square you mark out must be larger than the embroidery you want to create. To make the job easier, use the frame to stretch the backing fabric tightly and embroider in cross-stitch following the instructions on your schema.Terminato the embroidery, cut off the excess Soluble Canvas and remove the basting thread. Place your embroidered garment in a basin filled with warm soapy water. Leave it to soak for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally: the soluble canvas will dissolve and disappear! Rinse with warm water.
