Neck braces for reinforcing shirt collars. These transparent plastic braces help to reinforce shirt collars, making them smooth and perfect and eliminating any creasing problems.

The collar stay (or 'shirt collar stays', also known as 'stays', 'bones', 'sticks' or 'sticks') is a device used to maintain the correct curvature of a shirt collar.

Patented in the 1950s, it consists of a pair of small rectangular or trapezoidal splints that are inserted into special pockets at the bottom of the collar; it is made of various materials, but the most commonly used, versatile and economical is plastic.

The stays must be removed before washing the shirt in the washing machine and reinserted after ironing. Replacement stays can be purchased from our online haberdashery shop in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to find the right fit for your collar.
